Nokia Launches Five New Model Mobile Phones !

Nokia decided to launch its latest five new mobile phones for consumers in engineering market. The models are Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616, Nokia 1800, Nokia 2220 slide and Nokia 2690. The price of the Nokia 1280 is EUR 20, for Nokia 1616 it is EUR 24 and it is EUR 26 for Nokia 1800. The models Nokia 1280, 1616 and 1800 support FM radio, prepaid tracker, flashlight, anti-scratch cover and dust-resistant keymat. The other major features of these phones are long battery life, with up to 22 days of standby time, is vital for people in areas where access to electricity is limited.  The price for 2220 slide is EUR 45 excluding tax and subsidies, while Nokia 2690 is EUR 54 excluding tax and subsidies.





Both of the models support email on the device through Ovi Mail, giving people in developing markets their first digital identity directly from their handsets. You can create the OVI Mail accounts on the device to send and receive emails without any need of a PC. Other major features of these models are include FM radio, VGA camera, GPRS and MMS support, phone books for up to 1,000 contacts, and Bluetooth. Standby times for the Nokia 2220 slide and Nokia 2690 are about 20 days and 13 days respectively.

The high performance of the micro battery is based on its 3-dimensional micro-structure. Google Microsoft Bidding War Continues!

As we all know that Google and Microsoft both went for Yahoo recently. The both big leaders in IT sector is keen to acquire more companies. As the competition is bigger the big deal also goes bigger. Now their Bidding eye turns to Digg the social book marking site. Techcrunch reports that Google, our source says, will likely bid $200-$225 million, which Digg would likely accept.

The deal made by Microsoft is lower than that of Google but Microsoft already has 3yrs advertising deal with digg and it also said that the most of the revenue generated from it. This bidding deal story was soon denied by Digg CEO Jay Adelson is calling this post “completely inaccurate”. The interesting thing is that only a few days before Yahoo started the similar Digg site called Yahoo Buzz . Anyway the bidding war between the big giant IT companies is expecting to get more heat….
