I want to perform repair installation in the latest version of Internet explorer installed computer

This is one of the major issues occurs when performing repair installation of Windows XP. The issue is, if you have installed a later version of Internet Explorer in your Computer and you’re going to repair the Windows XP Operating System, you should uninstall the Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8 from the XP based Computer. If you don’t do this, the Internet Explorer will never work once you finish the repair installation in the Computer. Moreover, you can uninstall the later version and install the Internet Explorer 6. Once you finish the repair installation, you can reinstall the later version of Internet Explorer.

You should verify the version of Windows XP that is installed on the Computer
1. Press Windows Key and R Key and type “winver” in the Run command and then press Enter. Or else, click Start, choose Run, type Winver.exe in the Open box, and then click on OK.
2. Now, you can know the Windows Operating System installed in the Computer.

Follow these steps:
1. Click on Start, choose Run, type appwiz.cpl in the Open box, and then click on OK. This will open the Add/Remove programs in the Computer.
2. Thereafter, in the “Currently installed programs” list, choose Windows Internet Explorer 7, or click Windows Internet Explorer 8, and then click Remove.
If Internet Explorer is not listed in the Currently installed programs list, you can follow these following steps:
1. You should open a command prompt, by pressing Windows Key + R Key.
2. Then type the following commands, and then press ENTER after each command:

This is for Windows Internet Explorer 8
cd \Windows\ie8\Spuninst
batch Spuninst.txt

Remember, the ie8 folder is a hidden folder.

• Now, you can view a Windows Setup Dialog Box on the screen. Moreover, you can have the Recovery Console option. By clicking Yes, you can confirm the installation.
• Thereafter, restart the computer.
• If you restart the Computer next time, "Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" appears on the startup menu.

This is for Windows Internet Explorer 8
CD ie8\spuninst
batch Spuninst.txt

This is for Windows Internet Explorer 7
CD ie7\spuninst
batch Spuninst.txt

3. Now, just insert the XP Installation CD in the Computer optical drive and then restart the Computer.
4. Now, you can perform a Repair Installation of Windows XP. Once you finish the Repair installation process, start the Internet Explorer 6 and then ensure if it works.
5. Thereafter, Install the latest service pack for Windows XP.

If the repair installation process is succeeded, you can reinstall the later version of Internet Explorer. If you’re going to install the Internet Explorer 7 or 8, you should have the Internet Explorer installation package. This package will be still available on the Computer from the first time you installed the later version of the Internet Explorer.

New Micro battery, power packed for high performance

For a size of a few millimetres, the new micro-batteries are powerful enough to jump start a car battery and then quickly charge the cell phone. Researchers from the University of Illinois have developed the micro batteries which can be used to drive compact electronic devices and new applications for radio communications. The micro batteries are so good that they can even out power the super capacitors. The results were published in ‘Nature Communications’ in the April 16 issue. The micro batteries have energy and power and with the researchers tweaking the structure of the micro batteries a little bit, its use can be for wide range applications. The high performance of the micro battery is based on its 3-dimensional micro-structure. Based on the design of fast charging cathode by Professor Paul Braun’s group, researchers developed the matching anode and integrated it with the fast charging cathode at a micro-scale and made a complete battery with high performance. These batteries cou
